We are looking for a Java Developer on behalf of our client to design, build, and maintain high-quality Java applications. In this role, you will work closely with the team to develop new features, enhanceexisting systems, and ensure their applications run smoothly and efficiently. Working hours: Mon-Fri, 10am-7pm

Working location: Tanjong Pagar

Salary: Basic UP to 7K + AWS + Attractive variable bonus!

Key Responsibilities

• Build and enhance business applications - including development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineers, analysts, architects) to design and deliver high-quality solutions using best development practices.
• Review, troubleshoot, and resolve issues by analyzing system dependencies and ensuring smooth operations, including occasional after-hours support when required.
• Participate in code and design reviews to maintain clean, scalable, and maintainable applications.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and propose enhancements to strengthen system performance and development processes.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree of Computing, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of strong backend engineering experience
• Tech Stack: Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, RESTful APIs, Web Services
• Familiarity with Git, Jira, Jenkins, and unit testing tools (JUnit, Spring Test).
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to teamwork and feedback.
