The Opportunity

We are looking for a "Forward-Deployed" Software Engineer. You will not just be writing code in isolation; you will be the technical face of our company for our most important clients.

You will work side-by-side with our Project Managers to attend client meetings, translate their business requirements into technical workflows, and ensure their systems remain operational 24/7. This is a high-impact role where your code directly affects the public-facing infrastructure of Singapore.

What You'll Do

1. Client-Facing Engineering (Forward Deployment)

• Technical Consultation: Attend meetings with enterprise clients to understand their unique requirements. You will be the technical voice in the room, explaining what is possible with our API and AI models.
• Custom Integrations: Build and maintain the "glue code" that connects the BotDistrikt platform to client databases, APIs, and legacy systems.
• Workflow Configuration: Use our platform to design complex, non-linear conversational flows that meet specific client SLAs.

2. Core Platform Development

• Full-Stack Contribution: Contribute to the core BotDistrikt codebase. You will build features, optimize database queries, and squash bugs to improve the platform for all users.
• Tech Stack: You will work primarily with EmberJS, React, Ruby on Rails, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and Redis.

3. Reliability & Operations

• SLA Guardianship: Ensure client deployments are stable and performant. You are the first line of defense for critical bugs and uptime monitoring.
• Incident Response: Troubleshoot production issues in real-time. You take pride in maintaining a "green" status for our enterprise dashboards.

What You Bring

• Experience: 2-5 years of experience designing and building web applications or distributed systems.
• Technical Skills:
  Strong proficiency in JavaScript/Node.js.
  Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL.
• The "Solutions" Mindset: You enjoy solving specific customer problems. You are comfortable pivoting between coding a new feature and debugging a client's specific webhook integration.
• Communication: You are articulate and confident. You can explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in English.
• Education: Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant field (Required for CCP Eligibility).

Bonus Points

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with Generative AI/LLMs (OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic, Deepseek).
• Experience with Vector Databases (pgvector) or Redis.
