Our client, a well-known Japanese company is looking for candidates for the Senior Application Engineer / Application Manager (Inverter Drives Division) position.

Responsibilities: -

• Provide pre and post sales technical solution for inverters / drives
• Site troubleshooting and LV drive commissioning
• Organize in-house trainings for Sales and Marketing team
• Provide technical trainings / seminars at consultants / end-users' premises
• Assist sales team in regional distribution network expansion
• Able to compose bill of materials based on tender specifications
• Provide customer support by responding well to customer technical questions and understanding customer technical requirements to propose optimal solutions to strengthen customer relationship and trust
• Conduct market studies and feedback
• Prepare technical manual / articles
• Creation of technical database
• Prompt response to end-users/distributors technical enquiries
• Keep awareness of new product launch and acquire it's technical knowledge

Requirements: -

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering
• Min. 5 years of experiences in handling low voltage electrical products such as drives / motors / PLC, preference in VFDs
• Willing to provide hands-on pre & post sales technical solutions to support sales team
• Strong site troubleshooting and application skill
• Project management skill is a plus
• Confident in conducting technical trainings and technical presentations to partners and customers
• Solution oriented mindset
