Job Description

Omega 365 is a Global Software company. We are looking for a full-stack developer who is technically skilled in relational database, software & web technologies to join us in our Singapore office.

You must be passionate in helping project driven organizations improve their project execution capabilities through innovative software tools and work processes.

You will be part of the Singapore team working with clients in Asia to implement and customize our software solution based on client's needs, enabling them to manage their Energy & Renewables projects effectively.

You will also be connecting with colleagues globally (US, Canada, Norway, Denmark, Lithuania, Australia), and travel opportunities to the country offices or client site.

We are offering a full-time position on a 1-year contract with opportunity to convert into a permanent role based on performance.

Responsibilities

• To communicate with clients to understand project requirements
• To implement and customize the software package based on client needs and business objectives
• Analyse and understand the relationship between tables and modules from software system
• Develop and modify database solutions, including tables, views, triggers, stored procedures, and functions to implement business logic
• To conduct user training on software modules and prepare user manuals
• To quickly troubleshoot problems and resolve issues during maintenance support

Requirements

• Passionate in using technology to solve problems, streamline processes and improve user experience
• Excellent team players and communicators
• Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Information Technology (or Diploma with relevant experience)
• 3 - 5 years of experience in web/software development
• Strong database management and development using MS SQL Server (creating tables, views, triggers, stored procedures, and functions)
• Proficient in SQL, VB.NET, C#, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap, Crystal Report
• Good understanding of IIS setup, server & network knowledge
• Ability to quickly turn business requirements into solutions
• Ability to quickly troubleshoot problems and resolve issues
• Comfortable with client facing environment
• Able to travel and work independently

Desirable

• Project Management Certification
• An added advantage with experience doing integration with 3rd party web API.
• An added advantage with software development experience from Energy or Construction industries
• And added advantage with experience in project management tools, project control, document control, Risk, HSE
