About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Head of HR & Finance to lead both our human resources and financial functions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic education environment and takes pride in ensuring smooth operations across HR and finance. You will play a key role in maintaining compliance, managing payroll, and ensuring our financial books and HR documentation are accurate and up to date.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources

• Oversee all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
• Draft, review, and update HR contracts, letters, and policies in compliance with Singapore's manpower laws and regulations.
• Manage payroll using HR systems - currently transitioning from Carbonate HR to Wise Payroll.
• Maintain and update employee records accurately and confidentially.
• Provide HR advice to management and ensure fair and consistent HR practices.

Finance

• Handle basic accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, reconciliation, and financial tracking.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, and ensure proper financial documentation and record keeping.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for management review.
• Support budget planning and cost monitoring for the tuition centre.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of Singapore's employment laws and HR best practices.
• Hands-on experience in payroll processing and HR systems (Carbonate HR, Wise Payroll, or similar).
• Solid grasp of basic accounting principles and financial record management.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
• A proactive, dependable professional who can work both independently and collaboratively.
