Job Responsibilities:

• Architect, implement, deploy, and maintain large-scale, high-capacity AI systems:

1. Work with AI scientists to reduce latency and improve robustness of solutions.
2. Build cool UI that stitches together various elements of AI systems: human-in-the-loop, collection of training data, display of inferences.
3. This role can be scoped as an IC or a leadership position, but in both cases, you'll be deeply involved in hands-on coding.

Job Requirements:

• At least 8 years of relevant work experience with strong proficiency in these programming languages (e.g. Python, Go, C++, Java).
• Proven experience designing, implementing, and deploying medium- to large-scale systems, handling approximately 100-1,000 queries per second.
• Hands-on experience with asynchronous and concurrent programming models, such as multi-processing, multi-threading, and Python AsyncIO.
• Experience building distributed, loosely coupled architectures, including microservices and RESTful API design.
• Proficiency with both relational and NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Experience working with message queues and streaming platforms (e.g. RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Familiarity with backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, and Flask.
• Experience with containerized deployments and orchestration tools (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
