Web Developer and Designer (Intern / Part-Time)

Job Description:

Introduction

As a Web Developer Intern at St.Hua, you will support the development and maintenance of our websites and digital platforms. You will work on real projects that contribute to our business operations and online presence. For candidates with interest in AI, there will be opportunities to explore how AI/ML tools can be applied to web development and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain company websites and web-based systems.
• Improve website performance, UI/UX, responsiveness, and functionality.
• Support SEO/SEM activities, including keyword research and content optimisation.
• Assist in setting up and integrating plugins, APIs, and web automation workflows.
• Support exploratory projects on AI/ML tools to enhance website features or internal workflows.
• Prepare simple documentation and reports on completed tasks.
• Other related support tasks as assigned.

• Hands-on experience in web development and digital operations.
• Understanding of how websites support real business workflows in an education/consulting environment.
• Exposure to SEO/SEM strategies, website performance optimisation, and analytics.

Requirements

• University students pursuing a degree in Computing, IT, Computer Engineering, or related are preferred.
• Polytechnic students pursuing Diplomas in Computing, IT, Computer Engineering, or related are also welcome to apply.
• Familiarity or experience with HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and at least one web framework (e.g., React, Vue, Next.js, Django, Flask) is preferred.
• Comfortable with WordPress or willing to learn quickly.
• Some familiarity with Python is a plus, but not required.
• Self-driven, responsible, and able to work independently with guidance.
