Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Test Lead to lead our testing team . The Test Lead will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all testing activities to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products . The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on testing experience, and a deep understanding of software testing methodologies , including support during night and after-office hours when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the testing team to deliver high-quality software releases within deadlines.

• Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases aligned with project requirements.

• Coordinate and oversee functional, regression, performance, and automation testing activities.

• Ensure test coverage and traceability through requirement mapping and risk-based testing approaches.

• Monitor and report on test progress, defects, and quality metrics to stakeholders.

• Mentor and guide testers and promote best testing practices within the team.

• Facilitate defect triage meetings and ensure timely resolution of issues.

• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Coordinate testing activities with external vendors or partners when applicable.

• Provide support for night and after-office hour testing activities as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in software testing , with at least 3 years in a leadership role leading end-to-end testing for medium to large-scale projects in both Agile and Waterfall environments .

• Experience in large scale projects testing and commissioning in the transport/traffic management domain (especially enterprise-wide Traffic Management System related) would be advantageous.

• Strong experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Quality Centre, TestRail ).

• Hands-on expertise in automation testing tools such as Selenium, UFT, or similar is a plus.

• Experience in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall project methodologies.

• Excellent knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect management processes.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple projects, and deliver results under pressure.

• Experience in performance testing and automation testing is advantageous.
