Our client, a well-known Japanese company is looking for Full Stack Operation & Maintenance position.

Overview

• As a member of the Operations & Maintenance team, ensure the stable operation of the client's internal systems and development servers.
• Coordinate with vendors on hardware and software maintenance contracts and renew them as appropriate.
• Provide ideas to the Team Head on improving operations, maintenance, and efficiency.
• Submit requests (e.g., account creation, firewall settings) to the client's Head Office in Japan and coordinate tasks with them.
• Act as the liaison between the client's Head Office and the Singapore Branch, sharing requests and information with team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure system configurations comply with the client's security guidelines during audits.
• Analyse functional requirements and implement changes to the system in line with established guidelines.
• Work with the team leader to ensure configurations conform to design standards and meet functional and system requirements.
• Properly handle day-to-day user queries (server, network, PC, user accounts).
• For system issues, take recovery actions (workarounds), investigate root causes, and propose improvements.
• Produce and maintain up-to-date system documentation (runbooks, IT inventory lists, ID management lists, system parameter sheets).
• Identify system issues and drive continuous improvements.
• Create operations and maintenance procedure manuals for knowledge transfer to team members.
• Keep management documentation up to date.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Experience building Windows server environments (from server kitting, application installation to handing over to the development team).
• Experience operating and maintaining VMware (vCenter, ESXi).
• Experience operating and maintaining infrastructure tools (backup, monitoring, antivirus, job management, etc.) at Tier 2/3 level.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Forms, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Office).
• Experience with network configuration (ACLs, firewalls).
• Basic programming skills in any of the following: PowerShell, shell scripting, VBA/VBS, or Python.
• Knowledge of ITIL.
• Japanese language skills are essential, as the role requires regular communication with the client's headquarters in Japan.
