DevOps Specialist

Our client is looking for an experienced DevOps Specialist to drive scalable cloud infrastructure and DevOps solutions while guiding teams and clients through expert consulting and transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver reliable and scalable cloud solutions leveraging AWS, Azure and Kubernetes.
• Design, implement, maintain and support secure cloud infrastructures and environments.
• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines, security measures and testing tools to streamline development workflows.
• Automate build and deployment processes to enable faster, more frequent releases for delivery teams.
• Create and maintain documentation for DevSecOps practices and share knowledge across teams.
• Lead client workshops to identify technical challenges and define transformation roadmaps.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to design and implement tailored DevOps solutions.
• Provide expert consulting with an engineering mindset, incorporating AI tools like GitHub Copilot to boost efficiency.

Requirements:

• Strong experience (6-10 years) in platform automation and applying DevOps principles such as CI/CD, test and release automation, TDD and BDD.
• Solid expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) with knowledge of deployment strategies, costing, high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR).
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, SAM, ARM and Bicep for automating cloud environments.
• Skilled in containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS and Azure AKS.
• Ability to design and manage end-to-end CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) including release and rollback strategies.
• Understanding of microservices, event-driven architecture, DevSecOps practices and secure software development lifecycle.
• Proficient in configuring monitoring and security tools (e.g. ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, SAST/DAST) and managing RDBMS/NoSQL databases like MySQL, Oracle and Elasticsearch.
• Proficiency with AI coding assistants (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Cursor) including prompt engineering and validating AI-generated code.
