We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Solutions Architect with a strong background in financial markets and asset classes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions that support trading, risk management, and financial analytics platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology architecture with business goals, regulatory requirements, and cybersecurity best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and architecture of enterprise-grade financial software systems.
• Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions across trading, portfolio management, and risk domains.
• Define and maintain architectural standards, patterns, and best practices.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure alignment with architectural vision.
• Evaluate and recommend technologies, frameworks, and platforms.
• Drive adoption of DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native practices.
• Ensure scalability, performance, and security of applications in production.
• Integrate IT security principles into all stages of software design and development.
• Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and security reviews of architecture.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Engage with stakeholders across product, compliance, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise:

• Proficiency in Java, C#, C++, Python, JavaScript.
• Experience with ReactJS and/or AngularJS for front-end development.
• Strong understanding of AWS Cloud Services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Deep knowledge of software architecture patterns (microservices, event-driven, layered architecture).

IT Security & Compliance:

• Solid understanding of application security, network security, and data protection.
• Experience implementing secure coding practices, identity and access management (IAM), and encryption protocols.
• Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., OWASP, NIST, ISO 27001).
• Experience with security monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance in financial systems (e.g., MiFID II, Dodd-Frank, GDPR).

Financial Domain Knowledge:

• Familiarity with financial asset classes such as equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX, or commodities.
• Understanding of trading workflows, market data, order management systems, or risk analytics.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Preferred Extras

• Experience with Kafka, Redis, ElasticSearch, or GraphQL.
• Exposure to quantitative modeling, data science, or machine learning.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or AWS Certified Security - Specialty are a plus.
