About the Job

As a Software Technical Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in production support for their digital banking applications. You will handle incident, problem, and capacity management to ensure system stability and SLA fulfillment. In times of major incidents, you'll lead investigation, resolution, and stakeholder communications. You'll work closely with Level 1 and Level 3 support teams and development teams to resolve issues efficiently, while driving automation and service improvements to enhance operational standards and compliance. Translating complex technical issues into clear, business‑friendly summaries for non‑technical stakeholders will also be key. You'll be encouraged to promote knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team to foster a strong culture of operational excellence.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in production support or technical consulting roles-especially within digital banking or financial services environments
  • Strong capabilities in incident management, problem and capacity management, root cause analysis, and escalation handling
  • Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g. Splunk, AppDynamics, Prometheus, Nagios) and ticketing systems such as JIRA, ServiceNow, or comparable platforms
  • Hands‑on experience with scripting and automation using languages like Python, Bash, Shell, or PowerShell
  • Working knowledge of core banking systems, APIs, middleware, and digital channels (online banking, mobile apps)
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts into business terms for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multiple teams (L1/L3, dev, infrastructure) to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement, automation, and operational excellence
  • Commitment to knowledge sharing and mentoring-maintaining runbooks, post‑incident reviews, and process documentation
