We are seeking an experienced and hands-on PLC Programmer / Automation Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, programming, and commissioning of PLC, HMI and SCADA systems for industrial automation projects across various sectors such as manufacturing, power transmission, and material handling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, program, and configure PLC systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Omron, Mitsubishi, etc.).
• Develop and integrate SCADA systems (e.g., WinCC, Ignition, Wonderware, iFIX) and HMI interfaces.
• Perform system integration, including hardware setup, network configuration, and interfacing with field devices (sensors, VFDs, encoders, etc.).
• Conduct on-site commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of automation systems.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including electrical schematics, I/O lists, and control logic diagrams.
• Collaborate with project engineers, clients, and vendors to ensure project requirements and deadlines are met.
• Provide technical support and training to customers and internal teams.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in PLC programming and automation systems.
• Proficient in at least two major PLC platforms (e.g., Siemens S7, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, Omron, Mitsubishi).
• Experience in SCADA/HMI configuration, graphics development, and scripting.
• Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, etc.).
• Experience in system architecture design for automation projects and process automation (e.g., batching, mixing, packaging, conveyors) is preferred.
• Familiarity with safety PLCs, motion control systems, and robotic integration is an advantage.
• Knowledge of VFD and motor control systems is a bonus.
• Able to read and interpret electrical drawings and P&ID.
• Willing to travel regionally for site work and commissioning.
• Good problem-solving and project management skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
