About the Company

They are seeking an experienced General Manager / Project Director to lead product development projects and oversee cross-functional execution across the supply chain and engineering lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end product development projects in the maritime/marine sector, from concept through design, prototyping, validation, and deployment.
• Provide strategic and operational oversight across engineering, procurement, logistics, and technical execution teams.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration between R&D, engineering, operations, and commercial teams to ensure timely and cost-effective product launches.
• Champion innovation by translating customer needs and market trends into viable product solutions.
• Oversee technical compliance with marine standards, industry codes, and HSE requirements.
• Engage clients, suppliers, and technology partners to align project outcomes with business goals.
• Implement project governance, reporting, budgeting, and performance tracking for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture, Product Development, or related discipline (Master's or MBA is a plus).
• Minimum 10-15 years of experience in the marine, offshore, or engineering sector with a strong background in product development and project leadership.
• Proven track record in delivering complex product engineering projects within marine or maritime environments.
• Solid knowledge of engineering supply chains, production workflows, and product lifecycle management (PLM).
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with relevant marine classification rules, standards, and certifications.
• Innovative and commercially savvy, with the ability to align technology with market needs.
