The Logistics Executive plans and manages the logistical activities of the terminal based on the storage customers' requirements and terminal operational facilities. He/she generates periodic reports and provides updates on stock inventories to customers and authorities.
The Logistics Executive works independently and possesses strong planning, communication and interpersonal skills.
Logistics Executive:
• Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality (HSSEQ) rules and regulations
• Coordinate closely with external (customers, surveyors, shipping agents) and internal stakeholders so that logistical activities are executed smoothly
• Perform Customs Clearance Permit for all import and export shipments, including preparation, document submissions, declaration, filing, and facilitation of customs audit
• Prepare Shipping document for submission, declaration and filing
• Perform Weekly/Monthly Customs reporting
• Attend to queries and complaints with regards to the logistical activities and provide solutions within time limits, follow up to ensure resolution
• Generate/Post/Distribute weekly/monthly invoice(s)
• Maintain and foster good rapport with customers, transporters and internal departments
• Perform vessel vetting clearance for customers
• Plan logistical activities effectively and efficiently based on customers' requirements and terminal facilities
• Provide weekly/monthly stock inventory report to customer(s)
• Schedule and coordinate customer meetings and terminal visit/audit.
• Follow up on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable matters
• Generate, analyse and maintain reports such as KPI and inventory reports for customers and customs authorities to ensure compliance
• Provide technical support on various technical issues

Job Profile:
- Possesses at least a Business or Logistics related Diploma
- Have at least 2 years of logistics/ planning / customer service experience in a Terminal Storage Logistics industry
- Have excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make informed decisions
- Able to multi-task and work independently
- Possesses good negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Is detailed-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Please note:
- This position is based in Jurong Island
- The Logistics Executive is required to be on a 2-week planning rotation, with standby 24x7. You shall be compensated with a standby allowance for this.
- Official Working hours: Mon - Fri, 0830 - 1700 hours
