Our client is an international chemical trading and investment MNC backed by a blue-chip parent co which is stable and established. It is based in town (right next to a MRT station). This MNC offers flexi work arrangements (some WFH days is allowed). This logistics support role supports the Plastics sales team in the following operation functions:

• Provide logistics and documentation functions to facilitate shipment of polyethylene shipments
• Coordinate with finance and account team in LC and finance matter.
• Coordinate with headquarter and forwarders to manage schedules and stock as requested.
• Coordinate and monitor with oversea offices and customers for payment including opening LC, amendment until funds are received.
• Build good relationship with suppliers.
• Maintain regulatory compliance of activities in assigned area.
• Provide feedback of any improvement or incidents (if any) to superior.
• Manage outstanding invoices / customers' complaints.

Requirements

• Diploma qualified (preferred)
• Experience in import & export business (forwarding & trading activities) is preferred.
• Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint (High Presentation level is required).
• Able to read LC and perform documentation for shipments
• Able to work well as a team member

Selling pts:

• This MNC also allows WFH arrangement (around 2 to 3 days per week after probation).
• This MNC allows for flexi time work arrangement in a day (e.g to start earlier/ later and end earlier/ later accordingly) with HOD's approval
