Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage the Design Department, overseeing team performance, output quality, and project timelines.
  2. Attend project meetings and coordinate effectively with main contractors, developers, and factory teams to resolve design and technical issues.
  3. Ensure seamless internal collaboration with the Contracts, Procurement, and Project departments to support overall project delivery.
  4. Supervise drawing review and approval processes to meet carpentry and project standards.
  5. Provide leadership in problem-solving, decision-making, and maintaining high levels of design accuracy and efficiency.
  6. Handle ad-hoc duties assigned by senior management.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in interior fit-out or carpentry-related design, with strong technical background and site knowledge.
  2. Proven leadership and team management experience in a similar role.
  3. Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with internal departments and external stakeholders (main-con, developers, factory, etc.).
  4. Strong sense of responsibility, accountability, and attention to detail.
  5. Proficient in both English and Mandarin, to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients, vendors, and factory teams.
  6. Proficiency in AutoCAD and understanding of carpentry construction drawings is essential.
