Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations Management:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring all activities align with company policies and standards.
- Supervise front and back-of-house operations, including food preparation, service, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling, sanitation, and employee safety protocols.
- Maintain inventory levels, and order supplies when necessary to avoid shortages or overstock.
2. Staff Management & Development:
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of restaurant staff, including servers, cooks, dishwashers, and managers.
- Hire, train, and onboard new employees, ensuring they understand the restaurant's standards and expectations.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Create and maintain schedules, ensuring appropriate staffing levels during peak and off-peak hours.
3. Customer Service & Quality Control:
- Ensure exceptional customer service, handling customer complaints and resolving issues effectively and professionally.
- Monitor food quality and presentation, ensuring that all dishes meet company standards.
- Implement strategies to increase customer satisfaction, such as loyalty programs or feedback systems.
- Drive customer engagement through positive experiences and maintain an inviting atmosphere.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in restaurant management or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, or a related field (preferred), or equivalent work experience.
- Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers.
- Problem-Solving: Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle difficult situations in a calm and efficient manner.
- Customer Focus: Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and creating positive customer experiences.
