On behalf of our client, a reputable dry bulk shipping company, we are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join their team in Singapore.

This is a key role within a lean and dynamic operations setup, with the successful candidate expected to take ownership of a portfolio of dry bulk vessels from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations for 5-7 Handysize vessels
• Handle full post-fixture responsibilities including voyage instructions, cargo coordination, stowage, bunkering, and port agency matters
• Communicate regularly with masters, agents, brokers, and charterers
• Monitor voyage performance and support claims handling
• Work with internal teams to finalize voyage documentation and results
• Utilize IMOS for operational workflows (experience required); Shipfix or similar tools a plus

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in dry bulk operations
• Strong understanding of standard dry cargoes, hold cleaning, and voyage planning
• Proficient in IMOS; additional tech platform familiarity is welcome
• Detail-oriented with sound commercial awareness
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
