Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Vice President to lead strategic and operational initiatives within the railway industry. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience in managing complex railway operations, integrated train testing, and successful involvement in greenfield rail projects, including testing, commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement strategic plans for rail operations and infrastructure growth.
• Lead the execution of new railway projects, from design to commissioning and full operation.
• Oversee integrated train testing programs and ensure adherence to regulatory and safety standards.
• Manage large-scale greenfield rail projects including civil, systems, rolling stock, and depot components.
• Lead cross-functional teams through project milestones, timelines, and delivery targets.
• Build strong relationships with government agencies, private partners, OEMs, and industry regulators.
• Represent the organization in public-private partnership discussions and stakeholder meetings.
• Ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient performance of rail operations.
• Introduce best practices in system integration, operations planning, asset management, and maintenance strategies.
• Develop and lead multidisciplinary teams in engineering, project management, and operations.
• Foster a high-performance, safety-first culture within all business units.
• Promote innovation in rail technology, automation, and smart mobility.
• Ensure compliance with international rail standards and national regulatory frameworks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Transport, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in railway operations, infrastructure, or train testing and commissioning.
• Proven leadership in greenfield railway projects, preferably with international exposure.
• Experience in managing integrated testing and commissioning (T&C) of complex rail systems.
• Strong understanding of PPP models, project financing, and contract administration.
• Excellent communication, strategic planning, and stakeholder management skills.
