Position Overview:-

We are seeking a talented Business Analyst to serve as a crucial liaison between our business and technical teams. In this role, you will translate complex business needs into technological solutions, conduct cost-benefit analyses, and assess the viability of proposed solutions. Your expertise will help us navigate the evolving landscape of capital markets, including electronic trading platforms, risk management systems, and regulatory compliance.

Main Responsibilities:-
• Analyze business technology requirements and specifications, assessing value and risk of potential solutions.
• Design solution blueprints, considering integration implications across systems.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Evaluate feasibility and implications of proposed solutions for current and future business environments.
• Balance competing priorities from stakeholders to maximize organizational value.
• Present business cases to define potential benefits and efficiencies.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, including design documents and user manuals.
• Specify business rules for regulatory reporting and operations.
• Collaborate with developers to define implementation specifications.
• Assist with daily operations using Scrum, Jira, and Kanban methodologies.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes.

Mandatory Skills
• Proficient in data analysis using SQL/Oracle/Sybase, TSQL, and JOINS.
• Strong understanding of Microservices and Swagger UI.
• Basic knowledge of UNIX commands and scripting.
• Hands-on experience sourcing data from various applications (CIBML, Kafka, JSON).
• Solid understanding of CFT concepts.
• Expertise in XSLT transformation and tools like Oxygen OS.
• Familiarity with messaging queue concepts and tools (e.g., Hermes).
• Basic knowledge of tools like Grafana, KIBANA, and EJB.
• Proficient in GIT, JIRA, and Agile project management concepts.

Functional Skills:
• Experience supporting capital market applications and trading systems, with knowledge of financial products (Treasury, FX, Credit, IRD, Bonds, RSF).
• Hands-on expertise in transaction reporting regulations (MIFID2, SFTR, EMIR, CFTC) and APAC regulatory reporting.
• Strong knowledge of market data, pricing, clearing & settlement, and regulatory data sourcing.
• Ability to drive end-to-end regulatory projects with complete ownership.
• Familiarity with data sourcing from front office applications (Kondor, Summit, OT).
