The incumbent is responsible for handling regional financial performance evaluation, maximizing efficiency of regional financial assets, and tax risk management in Asia Pacific region for the power business.

He/she will also manage the projects in Thailand and Malaysia from finance, accounting, and tax perspectives.

Job responsibility

Regional Tax Management

• Contribute to strategic tax planning and decision-making for the local tax audits, cross-border transactions, and cross-border restructurings

Company Management

• Manage the entities in Thailand and Malaysia including the preparation of financial reports, such as profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, management financial reports, and regulatory reports and filings

Team Management

• Lead, direct, evaluate, retain and develop teams in Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand to ensure the organization's financial strategy is implemented effectively, consistently and according to established guidelines

Requirements

Bachelor degree in foreign language, management, economics, finance and accounting or equivalent

• Financial and accounting knowledge including project cost accounting and tax accounting such as transfer pricing and cross-border M&A
• Have at least 10years' of experience working in accounting or finance
• Especially experience in accounting for large plant and EPC projects where the percentage of completion method is applied.
• Excellent Japanese Language skills (JLPT N1 or equivalent level) in both business writings & speaking to coordinate & communicate precise information with Japanese stakeholders in the APAC region / counterparts in Japan HQ.
