We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in the banking and financial services sector, specifically in areas such as payments, fraud monitoring, AML/KYC, and digital banking transformation.

The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business users and IT teams to gather, analyse, and document functional requirements and support the end-to-end project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders, including product owners, compliance teams, and development teams, to gather business and functional requirements.
• Analyse and translate complex business needs into detailed documentation, including BRDs, FRDs, and process flow diagrams.
• Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and contribute to the solution design discussions with the architecture and development teams.
• Support the UAT process, including test case validation, issue logging, and coordination between QA and business teams.
• Assist in defining user journeys, validation rules, and backend logic for digital banking workflows.
• Prepare and maintain artefacts such as RequirementTraceability Matrices, change request logs, and stakeholder communication records.
• Work closely with project managers, developers, and QA teams across global and regional locations to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in banking or financial services.

Strong domain expertise in one or more of the following areas:

• AML/KYC, fraud prevention, and customer onboarding
• Payments (SWIFT, domestic interbank, digital wallets)
• Risk & compliance systems
• Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Visio, MS Excel, and SQL for data validation.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and methodologies like Agile and Waterfall.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage business and technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• Familiarity with platforms like Actimize, FIS, Temenos, or similar banking technology.
• Experience working on RegTech or Digital Transformation projects in the BFSI sector.
• Ability to coordinate across offshore and onshore teams.
• Exposure to Open API concepts and system integration projects.
