Senior Business Analyst

You will be part of the IT marketing team. In this role, you will support the Delivery Manager and partner the business stakeholders to spearhead the design, development and delivery of Income's Insurance Operations. You will work with the business to analyze their business requirements and produce documented and approved specifications for any new or change to technology applications and/or business processes. You will also support Developers, Solution Architect and UX designers in understanding the requirements so they can deliver on their commitments. You will work to maximize the value being delivered by ensuring all features and stories are aligned to business value. In this role you will serve as the primary liaison between the IT and Business Product Owners and work to refine the backlog of the team through prioritization, estimation and decision making.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Acting as a bridge between the business and IT by understanding and capturing requirements to help define solutions, discover details and facilitate delivery.

• Developing required documentation such as data models, process flows, workflow diagrams, and use cases.

• Managing key project stakeholders to include business leaders, end-users, and development teams.

• Investigate, analyze and report on productivity issues/opportunities. • Actively participate in all phases of the project including analysis, design, development, testing, user training, change management, and implementation.

• Defining problem statements and working with teams to break down into epics and small stories/tasks • Run Workshops when required for new initiatives or decision points

• Coaching the teams to evolve their values and practices towards a high-performance culture

• Identifying and working with key vendors to ensure enhancements and production support are delivered on target and according to SLAs. Align business change development approach and strategy in accordance to New IT Architecture and Roadmap.

• Effort estimates are appropriate for the change requirements raised

• Deliveries from vendors and developers meets standards and user requirements

• Continuous development and enhancements of consumer business application are in line with new IT Architecture Qualifications - External

• General Degree / Degree holder in Information Technology, Info Systems or equivalent.

• Agile Iteration Management experience using facilitation techniques to run workshops and team meetings within a cross functional project team environment

• Senior Business Analyst experience across large scale technology programs of work

• Online/web development project experience is desirable but not essential • Strong analytical, critical thinking skills to analyze problems and options to solve defined problems.

• Excellent communication (verbal and written), with an ability to influence, work collaboratively and foster effective relationships • Well-developed stakeholder management and expectation management skills

• Great analytical and documentation skills and ability to quickly breakdown problems and find innovative solutions

• Ability to deal with uncertainly and ambiguity well and be able to 'run with it' and adapt to new requirement

• Up-to-date with strong understanding of current digital and online trends, concepts, strategy and best practices
