We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our multiple retail outlets. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient workflow, uphold food quality and hygiene standards, manage staff performance, and support business expansion through structured systems and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Retail Operations (Outlets)
- Supervise and ensure smooth operations across all retail outlets.
- Implement SOPs for opening/closing, service standards, and food presentation.
- Monitor daily sales, customer service, and outlet performance.
- Conduct regular outlet audits and manage follow-ups for improvement.
- Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and compliance with SFA and NEA regulations.
- Liaise with logistics and suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce wastage.
People & Performance Management
- Lead and manage a team of outlet supervisors and kitchen staff.
- Conduct staff training, onboarding, and performance reviews.
- Resolve manpower issues, absenteeism, or performance problems promptly.
Administrative & Reporting
- Prepare weekly reports on outlet performance, stock usage, and operational issues.
- Assist in payroll-related documentation (e.g., timesheets, OT claims).
- Support hiring needs and participate in interviews for operations staff.
Strategic Support
- Propose operational improvements, cost efficiencies, and system enhancements.
- Assist in new outlet setup and expansion projects.
- Support marketing campaigns operationally (e.g., promo execution, product launches).
Requirements
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Good working knowledge of food hygiene standards and manpower regulations in Singapore.
- Proficient in basic Excel, Google Sheets, and reporting tools.
- Able to travel between outlets daily (possess own transport is a plus).
- Bilingual (English + Mandarin/Malay) preferred due to workforce composition.
Working Hours
- 5 day work week (including weekends and public holidays as needed)
