Key Responsibilities:

Legal, Finance & Operations Associate

1. Corporate Banking & Treasury

• Manage day-to-day banking relationships, credit lines, trade finance instruments (LCs, BGs, invoice factoring).

• Prepare loan applications and maintain compliance with covenants for both local and international lenders.

• Oversee cash flow forecasting and treasury operations across multiple entities and jurisdictions.

2. Equity & Debt Finance

• Develop and execute capital raising strategies including private equity, venture debt, and corporate bonds.

• Conduct financial modelling and investor reporting for internal stakeholders and external financiers.

• Engage with investment bankers, private equity firms, and financial institutions on funding initiatives.

3. IT & Systems Development

• Automate reporting, risk dashboards, and trade settlement workflows using programming skills (e.g. Python, SQL, Java, Excel VBA).

• Work with external vendors or internal teams to upgrade ERP, CRM, or inventory systems to support trade operations.

• Ensure data management practices are compliant with PDPA and trading industry standards.

4. Legal, Regulatory & Contractual Oversight

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including supplier/distributor agreements, JV contracts, and financing documents.

• Ensure compliance with Singapore legal and regulatory requirements (e.g. IRAS, ACRA, MAS), including cross-border trade laws.

• Liaise with external counsel, auditors, and regulators as necessary.
