Job Overview

We are looking for a capable and hands-on Operations Manager to lead and manage interior renovation projects with a strong focus on carpentry works. The role involves end-to-end project coordination, resource planning, team supervision, and ensuring smooth execution of both design and build activities. You'll be responsible for ensuring timelines, quality, and client satisfaction are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Coordination

• Oversee day-to-day operations for interior design and carpentry renovation projects
• Plan and schedule project timelines, manpower, and material deliveries
• Coordinate with in-house designers, carpenters, and external subcontractors
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, resolve site issues, and ensure workmanship quality

Client & Vendor Liaison

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during execution
• Ensure clear communication between design, carpentry, and site teams
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely procurement and delivery

Quality Control & Compliance

• Ensure all work aligns with design plans, specifications, and quality standards
• Maintain proper documentation, including project schedules, material orders, and work permits
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building guidelines

Team Supervision & Workflow Optimization

• Lead site teams including supervisors, installers, and carpenters
• Streamline operations to improve efficiency, cost control, and turnaround time
• Support hiring, training, and evaluation of site staff and subcontractors

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Project Management, or related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of operations or project management experience in the interior renovation industry
• Strong knowledge of carpentry workflows, materials, and fabrication processes
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple ongoing projects
• Proficient in MS Office, project scheduling tools, and basic CAD understanding is a bonus
• Bilingual is an advantage (to liaise with subcontractors and site workers)
