About the role

As part of strengthening the organization, we are looking for talented individuals to lead our accounting and finance team.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage the team which operates payments to venders and suppliers related to housing research and materials of housing components.
• Manage accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
• Oversee preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support business decisions.
• Supervise and develop accounting staff, providing guidance and training.
• Liaise with external auditors, respond to audit findings, and implement corrective actions.
• Operate tax filings by preparing and providing required documentation for corporate tax and GST.
• Lead and manage the administrative operations of the company, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow across departments.
• Analyze administrative processes and propose improvements for enhanced productivity.
• Operate Administration & HR Management overall.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accountancy, Liberal Arts or other related field.
• Business proficiency in Japanese language is required to liaise and facilitate communication between Japanese venders and related parties.
• It is necessary to have excellent business communication.
• At least 3 years of experience of managing site activities and sub-contractors in construction industry or experience of residential sales.
• Having in-depth knowledge and understanding in structure and its trends of Japanese wooden detached house for communicating with venders, suppliers and internal other departments.
• Experience of team management.
