Key Responsibilities

IT & Operations Leadership

1. Lead, manage and train a team of IT and operational engineers, fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.
2. Oversee two core workstreams:
   1. Maintenance of existing systems (ensuring smooth operation and minimal downtime).
   2. New project installations (hardware, AV, system integration, and deployments).
3. Ensure business continuity, system security, and IT governance in line with ISO27001 standards.
4. Act as the company's hardware and infrastructure expert, providing technical guidance and ensuring operational excellence.
5. Interpret and manage technical documentation, including system architecture, cabling plans, electrical schematics, and project schedules.
6. Manage resource planning, manpower scheduling, and response to fault calls and project deployments.
7. Managed the company's inventory and warehouse operations, including tracking equipment allocation for deployment, monitoring equipment quantity levels, and assessing current equipment condition.
8. Will need to get hands-on to do the work at times.
9. Rotational weekend operational manning will be required.

Project & Vendor Management

1. Provide technical expertise and strategic guidance to internal teams and clients.
2. Serve as a trusted hardware advisor, ensuring stakeholders have confidence in project feasibility and execution.
3. Manage relationships with external vendors and fabricators, ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables and effective collaboration.
4. Ensure that structures designed for outdoor computer operations are durable and easy to maintain.
5. Manage and track preventive maintenance schedules to ensure systems remain in optimal condition.
6. Maintain detailed documentation of all project installations, asset inventory, service form and maintenance records.
7. Investigate and resolve IT, software, and AV-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Operations, Security & Compliance

1. Oversee IT operations, business continuity, and system security in compliance with ISO27001 standards.
2. Optimize network, server, and cable management for internal and client environments.
3. Ensure proper asset management, inventory tracking, and preventive maintenance of IT and AV equipment.

Workplace Safety & Compliance

1. Serve as Trinax's Workplace Safety Officer, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and best practices.
2. Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols for on-site installations and maintenance.
3. Ensure compliance with workplace safety and health (WSH) regulations to minimize risks.

Continuous Improvement & Growth

1. Identify performance bottlenecks and recommend innovative solutions to enhance efficiency.
2. Build and maintain a strong vendor and partner network to support business growth.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience leading and managing technical teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience in system integration and interactive technologies (IoT devices, projection mapping, interactive walls, vending machines, AV, etc.).
• Strong understanding of technical concepts, emerging technologies, and business applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with AV systems, electrical wiring, and infrastructure setup.
• Resourceful and proactive, capable of finding solutions with limited resources.
• Proven ability to build trust with clients and stakeholders.
• Fluency in Mandarin is highly preferred to align with the company's primary working environment.
