As part of the Regional Operations Team under the Chief Operating Officer, the Senior Vice President, Project Execution will be responsible for providing oversight and support during the construction and safe completion of renewable energy projects.

They will be working with technical advisors, EPC contractors and internal project development teams, to ensure that projects progress and adhere to safety, quality and construction schedule requirements.

• Reports to the Managing Director of Operations, on all project management and construction management related activities, including reporting on matters in relation to the performance of projects against agreed schedules and performance metrics.
• Participate and provide inputs in new business opportunities and project review procedures, at a regional level for Investment Committee approvals.
• Participate in the review and development of prospects, focused on developing project scopes of work, construction sequence and methodology, schedule development and project execution plans.
• Review of the Employers requirements to fully determine and understand the conditions, requirements, deliverables, risks and liabilities of the construction work of the various technologies.
• Help Identify and select project managers and key site team members.
• Develop and oversee the implementation of detailed project execution plans by individual project managers and monitor their execution through comprehensive reporting to the Managing director on a weekly basis.
• Provide advice and counsel to Project and Construction Management teams, in activities and associated issues that arise during project execution and delivery.
• Develop and maintain relationships of internal and external key stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

• Proven track record to lead large green field scale utility power projects
• Demonstrable people leader with solid experience managing and developing multidisciplinary project teams
• Hands on approach, with the demonstrated ability to work in high pressure environments and within multi-national or cultural situations and adverse and contentious conditions.
• Must be able to travel regionally and internationally, including spending extended periods on internal assignment as required.
• BSc/BEng (w. Hons) in Project, Construction Management (or in an equivalent constuction field) or science and engineering field.
• Experience and exposure in working for/with an EPC/Technical advisor or utility managing large utility scale PV/Wind/BESS projects of more than >20MWp and at least 5 projects. Experience in APAC countries will be advantages
• 10+ years project management or related experience (with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a Regional PM role).
