Job Objective:

The QA Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the product quality of their assigned parts, developing and maintaining inspection and acceptance methods that comply with AS9100 standards and meet the requirements of our OEM customers. Additionally, the QA Engineer will carry out internal and external audits in accordance with the Company's Quality Management System standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and customer-specific requirements.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive quality documentation, including inspection control plans, procedures, and work instructions.
• Identify quality issues and implement corrective actions to resolve them, preventing defects.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to enhance efficiency and product quality.
• Develop and oversee testing procedures and equipment to verify product quality.
• Coordinate inspections for raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
• Perform supplier audits and track supplier performance to ensure quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with suppliers to address and resolve quality-related concerns.
• Analyze data from quality audits, inspections, and tests to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare quality reports and present findings to the management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science or related fields.
• Proven experience in Quality Assurance engineering or similar role.
• Proficient in GD&T.
• Strong understanding of Quality Assurance tool and methodologies (i.e. FMEA, SPC, APQP/PPAP, 8D problem solving, etc.).
• Familiar with industry standards (i.e. AS9100, ISO9001).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
