Job Title: QA Engineer/Tester

Location: Singapore (CBD)

Position Type: Full-time Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough regression and end-to-end testing of software applications.
• Deeply analyze and understand JSON, API, and SQL to validate data and application behavior.
• Collaborate with business analysts and developers to comprehend business requirements and transform them into detailed, effective test cases.
• Utilize in-house automated regression tools to execute tests and ensure software quality.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and issues found during testing.
• Provide feedback to development teams regarding quality and functionality.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of test processes, ensuring they remain efficient and effective.
• Support Business As Usual (BAU) operations as required, ensuring ongoing software quality.

Required Skills & Experience:

• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience, with a proven track record in a Software Test Engineer or similar QA role.
• Strong proficiency in JSON, API testing, and SQL for data validation and query execution.
• Extensive experience in regression testing and end-to-end testing, ensuring software functionality and quality.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to quickly learn new tools, technologies, and business processes.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing requirements, and contribute to BAU operations when needed.
• Knowledge of financial instruments and entities will be an added advantage.
