Job Description:

• Handle import and export shipment for Small Parcel R1 and Cargo R2

• Organizes, splits and plans day-to-day work of Export Operations Specialists
• Supervises Transactional Operations in the forwarding area (capacity booking, pickup
arrangement, planning and follow-up of shipment in the forwarding area and during the transport process)
• Arranges pickup, finalizes booking and performs booking optimization.

• Implement SOPs for handling small parcel R1 and Cargo R2
• Ensures handling of required Export documents according to regulations and internal procedures
• Follows-up shipment status in the Export area and during transport; identifies incidents and ensures resolution of incidents
• Supports Customer Service in the incident and exception management resolution
• Creates, builds and maintains excellent relationships with key suppliers
• Continuously monitors supplier performance and develops improvement plan when required
• Identifies training needs and opportunities to develop a highly skilled functional department
• Creates, builds and maintains relationships with other internal functions and acts as subject matter expert for ad hoc operational questions with regards to accounts which are being serviced
• Ensures that proper implementation of customer has been conducted before sales is starting regular business service

• Filing and document according to governance regulation.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred.

• Possess 6 - 8 years of Operational experience in a similar capacity within the supply chain / logistics industry with at least 3 years in a managerial position and has experience in working with 3 or more countries.

• Extensive knowledge of Ocean Import

• Strong analytical and numerical skills

• Good conceptual thinking and planning skills

• Easily capable of making well informed decisions

• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong communication skills to interact with external and internal stakeholders

• Ability to work under pressure and fast paced environment.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
