Role Overview:

The Laboratory Operations Manager oversees daily operations, managing a team to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality testing of construction materials like concrete, aggregates, soils, asphalt, and steel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily lab operations and a team to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and training on test result interpretation and compliance with international standards.
  • Supervise sampling and testing of construction materials (concrete, aggregates, soils, asphalt, steel, etc.).
  • Ensure smooth, safe, and cost-effective lab operations.
  • Maintain adherence to quality systems and safety standards.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients' technical and logistical inquiries.
  • Integrate cross-functional teams into laboratory management processes.
  • Lead business performance reviews and identify growth opportunities.

Requirements:
  • Bachelors in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, with 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 17025, BS, EN, ASTM, etc.
  • SAC-SINGLAS certification is a plus.
  • Experienced in leading a team of over 20 staffs
