Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Logistics Customer Service Controller/Admin. This role will be responsible for providing administrative support within the logistics department, ensuring smooth operations, and enhancing customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a keen eye for detail in managing logistics processes and customer inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

\t• \tCustomer Service Support: Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding order status, shipment inquiries, delivery schedules, and issue resolution.

\t• \tOrder Management: Process and manage customer orders, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment in coordination with the logistics team.

\t• \tShipment Tracking: Monitor shipments and track deliveries to ensure timely arrival. Update customers on any delays, issues, or changes in schedules.

\t• \tData Entry & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of orders, shipments, and customer communications in the system. Prepare and file shipping documents, invoices, and related reports.

\t• \tIssue Resolution: Address and resolve any customer complaints or concerns related to logistics, working with internal teams and external partners to find solutions.

\t• \tCoordination with Internal Teams: Collaborate closely with procurement, warehouse, and transport teams to ensure that customer orders are processed smoothly and on time.

\t• \tInventory Control Support: Assist in inventory tracking and ensure the accuracy of stock levels as it relates to customer orders and logistics operations.

\t• \tReporting: Generate regular reports on order status, customer issues, shipment performance, and any service-related KPIs.

\t• \tProcess Improvement: Identify areas for improving efficiency and service quality within the logistics operations and suggest enhancements to the logistics processes.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

\t• \tHigh school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics, business administration, or related field is a plus.

\t• \tPrevious experience in logistics, customer service, or administrative support, preferably within a logistics or supply chain environment.

\t• \tStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both customers and internal teams.

\t• \tExcellent organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

\t• \tProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and logistics management software.

\t• \tProblem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues.

\t• \tAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Working Conditions:

\t• \tFull-time position, Monday through Friday, Saturdays WFH.

\t• \tOffice-based role with potential for occasional remote work.

\t• \tOccasional overtime may be required during peak periods or urgent customer needs.
