We are seeking a seasoned Data Architect to lead the end-to-end design of scalable, cloud-native data systems. You'll define architectural blueprints, integrate data platforms, and ensure alignment with business needs across data governance, security, and real-time analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and own the full-stack data architecture (front-end visualization + back-end cloud lakehouse)
• Translate business and resiliency needs into technical specifications
• Lead design reviews, source code validation, and ensure secure and scalable data solutions
• Oversee implementation of metadata management, data lineage, RBAC, and encryption standards
• Guide integration of APIs, geospatial data, and 3D data formats
• Lead cloud-native ETL/ELT processes, real-time data streaming, and observability frameworks
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver enterprise-scale data platform projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field (Master's preferred)
• Minimum 7 years of enterprise software development experience, including 3+ years leading technical teams and architecting data-intensive solutions
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing cloud-native data platforms and pipelines using modern tools like Apache Spark, Airflow, or Azure Data Factory

Technical Expertise

• Hands-on with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), data lakes (ADLS, Delta Lake), and data warehouses (Redshift, BigQuery)
• Strong in Spark, Airflow, Azure Data Factory, Kafka, Event Hubs
• Experience in geospatial databases (PostGIS, Cosmos DB) and 3D data formats (CityGML, LAS/LAZ)
• Skilled in data security, RBAC, PDPA/GDPR compliance, and CI/CD pipelines
• Proficient in database tuning, backup/DR, and data migration strategies

Leadership & Soft Skills

• Proven success in delivering 3+ large-scale data platforms
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication
• Capable of building and mentoring technical teams
• Familiar with modern data mesh and domain-driven design principles
