Job Description

• Responsible for assisting with IT projects and providing support for Systems and IT-related issues.
• Help trouble-shoot problems encountered by staff using the sourcing and procurement systems and liaise with external stake holders for rectification.
• Maintain existing IT systems and write requirements for new ones.
• Responsible for liaising with vendors such as programmers to produce new systems or system enhancements.
• Testing and implementing new systems.
• Manage projects to ensure IT changes do not disrupt the organisation.
• Liaising with stakeholders to keep them informed of progress and to seek feedback.
• Producing specifications and providing training for new or modified systems.
• Assist with onboarding / offboarding of new staff.
• Responsible for the procurement of technology and IT-related products/services (hardware/software) whilst meeting users' specifications and requirements in a timely manner and at the most competitive price(s)
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and user guides.
• Provide guidance and support to end users regarding system functionality, best practices, and process improvements.
• Conduct training to new end users

Requirement:

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related disciplines.
• Able to work independently but also collaboratively with cross functional teams.
• Attention to details with good analytical skills and is numerically sensitive
• Knowledge of networking, Lotus Notes, MS applications, IT security, PC/LAN, Windows platform and Web Applications.
• Trustworthy, self-motivated, able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English, with the ability to understand Chinese language.
• Proficient in Microsoft office including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Negotiation skills.
• Excellent technical skills and enthusiasm to continue to develop them.
• Problem-solving skills.
