Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Development & Strategic Transformation (CDST) Manager to join our dynamic team. The CDST Manager will play a critical role in supporting the Deputy Director, Marketing Communications and CEO in driving company strategy, overseeing organisational transformation, managing corporate development initiatives. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to facilitate company-wide transformation and changes to achieve strategic objectives. This role requires excellent strategic thinking, analytical, organisational, facilitation and communication skills, as well as the ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with utmost discretion.

Job Description:

The CDST Manager will play a critical role in shaping and executing our company's strategic initiatives. Reporting to Deputy Director, Marketing Communications, this position requires a strategic thinker with a strong business acumen and proven experience in corporate development, strategy formulation, and organizational transformation within the high-tech sector. The CDST Manager will collaborate closely with the executive team to drive growth, innovation, and operational excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Support to CEO
  • Conduct research, analyse data and prepare presentations or reports to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with Deputy Director, Marketing Communications and the leadership team to develop, communicate and execute corporate strategies.
  • Develop transformational plans and facilitate execution.

Special Projects Management
  • Manage transformational initiatives and special projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate across functions, partner with department heads and colleagues to implement change management strategies effectively.
  • Monitor project progress, propose solutions to mitigate potential issues and ensure timely completion.

Communication and Coordination
  • Draft and edit communications, presentations, and other documents for the CEO and senior management.
  • Facilitate effective communication flow between the CEO's office and other departments or external parties.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and compile necessary materials for strategic changes or new initiatives.

Confidentiality
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain absolute confidentiality regarding sensitive matters or embargoed information.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • More than 4 years' experience as a Corporate Development & Strategic Transformation (CDST) Manager, or in a similar role supporting C-level leaders in a high-tech or fast-paced environment.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics (KSAO):
  • Strong understanding of corporate strategy, organisational transformation, and project management principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesise complex information into actionable plans.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to facilitate and interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks/assignments and work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience or strong understanding of management accounting will be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Copilot) and other relevant software applications.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism, with strong commitment to upholding ethical standards.
