Company introduction

A leading international corporate bank is undergoing a multi-country transformation to modernise its lending platform across APAC. As part of a regional core banking refresh, the bank is moving from a legacy system to a FIS ACBS and is seeking a Vice President-level hire of a Business Analyst/Project Manager (Lending/Loans, ACBS) to drive business-led change within Lending Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the business workstream for a regional lending platform transformation, partnering closely with Technology and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Translate Lending Operations processes into clear requirements, functional specifications, and workable solutions for system configuration and delivery.
• Drive delivery activities including process mapping, gap analysis, stakeholder alignment, and change readiness.
• Coordinate and govern testing activities (SIT/UAT), validate test approach, triage defects, and ensure business sign-off.
• Support data migration and cutover planning, ensuring operational continuity through go-live and stabilisation.
• Identify process improvement opportunities, streamline workflows, and help define future-state operating models across countries/branches.
• Provide project reporting, risk management, and clear communication to senior stakeholders across the region.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on bank experience within Lending Operations / Loan Operations / Credit Operations (corporate banking preferred).
• Proven track record delivering business-led transformation involving core banking or lending platforms (package implementation or major migration).
• Strong preference for exposure to FIS ACBS (implementation, migration, functional lead, or key BA role).
• Solid understanding of end-to-end lending operations workflows (e.g., documentation checks, booking, compliance controls, disbursement, servicing).
• Strong functional BA capabilities: requirements elicitation, process mapping, documentation, stakeholder management, and structured problem-solving.
• Comfortable working in a multi-country environment with diverse stakeholders; able to operate at VP-level with maturity and ownership.
