We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Vice President, Business Finance.

The Jobholder will serve as a key member of the Business Finance team and deputy to the country Business Finance Head for IWPB (Retail Bank), driving business performance management through effective reporting, identifying opportunities and risks, and providing actionable strategic recommendations.

The jobholder will collaborate extensively with business and functional stakeholders, including the Asia Pacific Regional Office, country Finance, country IWPB Business Finance (Insurance, Private Bank, Asset Management), Product (Retail & Wealth), and Business Performance Management teams while also serving as the Finance Point of Contact for the extended IWPB business finance teams, with primary responsibility for supporting the Retail Bank.

In this role you will:

• Establish and lead segment/customer-level profitability reporting for IWPB
• Oversee performance of Balance Sheet & PL (Revenues, Costs, ECLs) versus plan/KPI scorecard providing proactive risk and opportunity analysis, plus any other forward looking strategic insights
• Oversee the production and ongoing improvement of key financial reports (Consolidated IWPB Financials, Market Check-In Decks, OPCO Decks, and ad-hoc strategy decks), ensuring efficiency and accuracy
• Oversee consolidated quarterly financial forecasts, monthly risks & opportunities (R&O) process, annual planning (FRP), and ad-hoc strategic financial initiatives or business cases
• Oversee overall cost management, ensuring direct costs are controlled and within plan, while partnering with the business performance team to identify and deliver sustainable savings

To be successful you will need:

• Academic degree from a recognized institution and strong experience in banking, financial services, or a related industry.
• Excellent analytical skills with strong commercial acumen and understanding of business drivers.
• Solid background in Management Information, including content requirements, production processes, and drivers of reported numbers; strong grasp of key accounting concepts and principles, including controls/governance. Proven ability to identify significant business and financial trends, assess their impact, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with TM1/HMI systems required. Experience with AI and data science tools (e.g., Python, Tableau, SAS) is an advantage.
• Proactive and naturally curious, with a growth mindset; an adaptive and creative problem solver who thrives in challenging conditions, embraces change and transformation, and remains resilient under pressure and tight deadlines.
• A team player with strong relationship-building, collaboration, and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both Business and Finance stakeholders
