Job Summary

Lead and manage global Polyolefin and PVC trading operations by developing supply sources and customers, planning strategic trading initiatives, and driving sales targets through effective team leadership and cross-cultural collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a global trading strategy for Polyolefin and PVC to expand market presence and achieve sales targets
• Identify and establish new supply sources and customer relationships worldwide to enhance business growth
• Match suppliers and customers globally to optimize trading opportunities and ensure seamless transactions
• Manage the trading section's activities by setting strategic plans and monitoring performance against sales objectives
• Communicate complex business information clearly and effectively in both written and verbal forms to management, department staff, clients, and vendors
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with management, superiors, subordinates, and local and overseas counterparts to facilitate collaboration
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and adaptability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
• Coach and lead young staff and logistics teams to enhance their knowledge, skills, and overall performance
• Coordinate trading activities across different time zones to ensure timely and efficient operations
• Use business-level Japanese language skills to liaise effectively with Japanese counterparts in the region and at Japan headquarters.
