Supplier Quality Engineering

Responsible for engineering tests and technical functions related to thesupport of Supplier Quality Engineering.

Maintains supplier quality engineering programs, standards andimprovements within the organization.

Develops and implements methods and procedures for disposition ofdiscrepant material and devises methods to assess cost and responsibility.

Supports Incoming Quality Engineering, Product Engineering, QualityEngineering and Program Management with customer interfaces as necessary on quality related issues.

Leads a team of Supplier Quality Engineers, Staff Engineers and Qualityfunction leaders that maybe assigned.

Schedules and manages Supplier Quality Audit / assessments andre-assessment program.

Interfaces with suppliers on technical/quality issues and improvementinitiatives

Provides factory support to identify and resolve issues associated withpurchased parts, materials and manufacturing.

Develops standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluationbased on medical device standards.

Reviews monthly metrics reports.

Ensures compliance with the Company's Quality System and applicableregulatory requirements such as ISO 13485.

Contributes to continuous improvement activities.

Contributes to the workplace safety and health improvement for theemployees, as well as environmental protection, by adhering to the company's Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures, and helping to achieve EHS objectives and targets through participation of EHS programs

Participate and adhere to Corporate Social and EnvironmentalResponsibility (CSER) policy, programs and procedures

Assist others within same or cross-functional department assign by Head of Department/Manager on ad-hoc duties as necessary.

Requirement

Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electronics Engineering /Electrical Engineering / Electromechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Process Technology

Minimum 3 years in manufacturing environment.

Familiar with supplier quality management and 2nd party audit
Familiar with ISO 13485 Quality System Requirements will be addedadvantage
