Park Bäckerei is a German bakery Icon Village in Tanjong Pagar, with a focus on pretzel baked goods and covering dine in, retail/take-away, and catering settings. Our pretzel baked good range includes authentic german pretzels, sweet laugenbuns, stuffed bagels and other mouth-watering baked goods, using only the highest quality ingredients.
We have 2 Outlets in Marina and are building up a first class team to free up bandwidth for expansion and growth.

We are looking for a mature (independent of age) individual that is good with people and has talent to organize and maintain workflows and processes in a well-run workplace. Ambition and Drive to grow into a full General Manager over time is a big plus. Culinary background (Sous-chef and similar) is also a good skill to bring to the table.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Be able to man all stations to support and guide the team and cover staffing gaps
• Responsible for overall Quality Control and management.
• Ensure outlet team performs their duties and meet expectations Responsiblefor sales targets and perform against agreed operational KPIs
• Roster Planning, hiring and training of the outlet team including part timers
• Oversee planning and fulfillment of catering, events, B2B contracts where applicable.
• Overseeing and managing inventory and ordering of doughs, ingredients, packaging materials and other supplies required for smooth outlet operations
• Ensuring strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations for yourself and thewider team while maintaining a clean and orderly workplace
• Handle customers enquiries and ensure customers are overall satisfied with our foodand services
• Act as leader, coach and manager to the junior team members and foster a teamculture of trust, performance and teamwork.
• Assist in generating sales and KPI reports as required to make decisions.
• Assist Owners with Commercial decisions and other ad-hoc requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

• Culinary Background or adjacent industries if you have a strong case to make why your skills are relevant

• A deep passion for food, curiosity and ability to learn new concepts quickly
• Good organization and time management skills
• Outstanding customer engagement and communication
• Good communication in English required
• Solid knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices (Certification can be sponsored for the right candidate)
• Interest in learning the commercial and financial sides of the business
