Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner / Process Analyst with strong expertise in Temenos Transact (T24) and Private Banking to bridge business requirements and technology solutions within the core banking domain.

The role involves end-to-end business analysis, solution design, stakeholder management, and delivery support across complex banking products and processes. The candidate will work closely with business users, IT teams, and vendors to ensure system solutions are scalable, compliant, and aligned with regulatory and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Solution Design

  • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams within the core banking ecosystem
  • Analyse, document, and validate business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories
  • Perform process analysis, impact analysis, and gap analysis across core banking and interfacing systems
  • Propose innovative, scalable solutions while minimising operational and delivery risks
  • Ensure system solutions align with business needs, regulatory requirements, and market standards

Delivery & Implementation Support

  • Lead and coordinate requirement analysis, system enhancements, and solution design for core banking initiatives
  • Support end-to-end implementation including development, testing, migration, UAT, training, and production release
  • Diligently maintain change logs, documentation, and project status reports
  • Support Agile delivery using Scrum / Kanban, including backlog grooming and sprint planning
  • Work closely with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes

Stakeholder & Project Management

  • Act as a liaison between business users, IT teams, vendors, and external stakeholders
  • Ensure clarity of requirements and ownership across all impacted parties
  • Escalate risks, issues, and dependencies to project leads in a timely manner
  • Support governance, audit, and regulatory review activities

Role Specializations (Based on Assignment)

Depending on project allocation, the role may focus on one or more of the following domains:

Corporate Actions / Securities Operations

  • Analyze corporate actions lifecycle (dividends, mergers, splits, rights issues, redemptions, etc.)
  • Support entitlement calculations, data mapping, reconciliation, and STP improvement
  • Ensure compliance with SWIFT (ISO 15022/20022), DTCC, Euroclear, Clearstream standards

Transactions Fees & Taxes

  • Analyse and define fees, commissions, pricing rules, and tax calculations
  • Support withholding tax, VAT/GST, stamp duty, and capital gains tax configurations
  • Align product, accounting, and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions

End of Day / Month / Year Processing

  • Analyse and optimise EOD/EOM/EOY batch and closure processes
  • Support GL postings, reconciliations, accruals, and accounting period rollovers
  • Ensure compliance with audit, accounting, and regulatory standards

FX & Precious Metals / Alternative Investments

  • Analyse FX & PM trade lifecycle (Spot, Forward, Swap, NDF, Options, PM Deposits)
  • Support treasury module implementations and integrations
  • Work with SWIFT messaging, CLS processes, and market data providers

Securities Deliveries / Credit / SLB / Repo / ETD

  • Analyse settlement workflows (DVP/RVP, FOP, fails management)
  • Support multi-asset class processing and integration with custodians and CSDs
  • Define business rules for settlement, matching, prioritisation, and risk management

Static Data / Cash / Deposits / Teller / Cards

  • Analyse and manage static data for securities, derivatives, treasury, and retail banking products
  • Support transaction flows across teller, ATM, and card systems
  • Drive PLWs and advise on new processes and application implementations

Requirements

Professional Skills

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration abilities
  • Strong documentation and process modelling skills
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
  • Experience in banking / financial services is mandatory

Technical & Domain Skills (Must Have)

  • Strong experience in IT Business Analysis / Product Ownership / Process Analysis
  • Deep knowledge of Core Banking systems, preferably Temenos Transact (T24)
  • Private Banking domain expertise, including:
    • Credit Products (Mortgage, Lombard Loans, Structured Finance, Guarantees)
    • Securities, Derivatives, Structured Products
  • Exposure to Transact modules such as AA, SC, DX, SY, MD
  • Experience driving PLWs and supporting system implementations
  • Strong working knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban)
