Requirements
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, userstories, and test plans to support software development.
- Analyse and document current and future-state business processes to support implementation, training, andcontinuous improvement.
- Produce clear process flows,workflows, and business analysis documentation, and obtain client sign-offprior to development.
- Act as the primary liaison between clients and the development team throughout the full softwaredevelopment lifecycle (SDLC).
- Design, execute, and manage test scenarios, test cases, and UAT support to ensure solutions meet businessrequirements.
- Manage change requests on a day-to-day basis, ensuring scope, timelines, and project plans remain aligned.
- Challenge business assumptions and promote standardised solutions, minimising unnecessary custom development.
- Ensure requirements align with company standards, policies, and solution frameworks during project definition.
- Critically evaluate information from multiple stakeholders, resolve conflicts, and break down high-levelrequirements into clear, actionable details.
- Prepare end-user documentation and support training activities to ensure successful system adoption.
- Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to define technical solutions, balancing usability,performance, and cost efficiency.
- Liaise with internal IT teams to ensure development priorities align with business needs.
- Provide day-to-day Level 2 application support related to software usage.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives at department or company level.
- Perform other duties as assigned, appropriate to the role.
- Travel to customer, supplier,or other company sites as required.
Requirements
- Recognised Bachelor's degree or above in Information Technology or a related discipline.
- Proven experience working on project-based implementations, delivering within agreed budgets and timelines.
- Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering and specification writing for information systems.
- Exposure to end-to-end project lifecycle, from requirements through implementation and support.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of how to translate business needs into functional andoperational requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in English is required, and Chinese is anadvantage.
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with executives, managers, andsubject matter experts.
