Role Overview

We are a Chinese restaurant / F&B group seeking a Business Analyst / Market Research Analyst to support business expansion, menu strategy, pricing decisions, and customer growth.

This role focuses on market research, data analysis, and commercial insights specific to the Chinese dining market, helping management make informed, data-driven decisions.



Key Responsibilities

Market & Industry Research

\t• \tConduct market research on the Chinese restaurant and F&B market in Singapore

\t• \tAnalyze competitors (pricing, menu structure, promotions, positioning)

\t• \tTrack consumer trends, dining behavior, and spending patterns

Business & Commercial Analysis

\t• \tAnalyze sales data, customer traffic, average spend, and product performance

\t• \tSupport menu optimization, pricing strategy, and promotion effectiveness

\t• \tEvaluate new outlet locations, concepts, and expansion opportunities

\t• \tPrepare business cases and ROI analysis for management decisions

Customer & Membership Insights

\t• \tAnalyze customer segments, repeat rates, and loyalty behavior

\t• \tSupport development and optimization of membership / loyalty programs

\t• \tProvide insights to marketing and operations teams

Reporting & Strategy Support

\t• \tPrepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for management

\t• \tTranslate data into actionable business recommendations

\t• \tWork closely with operations, marketing, and finance teams



Requirements

\t• \tBachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Data Analytics, or related fields

\t• \t1-3 years of experience in business analysis, market research, or consulting (F&B / retail preferred)

\t• \tStrong analytical and data interpretation skills

\t• \tProficient in Excel / PowerPoint (SQL / BI tools is a plus)

\t• \tGood understanding of Chinese dining culture and consumer behavior

\t• \tStrong communication skills in English (Mandarin is a strong advantage)

\t• \tDetail-oriented, logical, and commercially minded

\t• \tExperience in restaurant, retail, or consumer goods industries

\t• \tFamiliar with POS data, sales reports, or membership systems

\t• \tExperience supporting new store opening or market entry

\t• \tKnowledge of Singapore F&B market regulations and trends
