What will you be doing?

As a member of our kitchen crew specializing in preparing acai bowls based on provided SOP, you will play a crucial role in creating high-quality, delicious, and visually appealing acai bowl for our customers. Your attention to detail, culinary skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will contribute to our overall customer satisfaction and the success of our establishment.

Cleanliness and Sanitation:

• Follow all sanitation and hygiene guidelines to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Clean and sanitize workstations, utensils, equipment, and serving areas regularly.
• Adhere to proper food handling and safety procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food safety

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with other kitchen crew members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Collaborate with the cashier to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.

Customer Service:

• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner when necessary.
• Address customer inquiries or special requests related to acai bowl ingredients and customization options.

Quality Control:

• Monitor the quality of ingredients, acai base, and toppings to ensure they meet our standards for taste and freshness.

Inventory Management:

• Assist in monitoring ingredient inventory levels and notify store manager when supplies need to be replenished.
• Properly store ingredients and supplies to ensure freshness and prevent waste.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in food preparation, preferably in a café, smoothie bar, or similar setting.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices. (Food hygiene Certification is mandatory)
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility in work schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderately heavy objects.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt.
