Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee daily operations across transportation, dispatch, and warehouse functions

2. Optimize fleet utilization, routing, and load planning to reduce cost and improve efficiency

3. Lead and mentor operations supervisors, dispatchers, and frontline staff

4. Ensure compliance with transport regulations, safety standards, and company policies

5. Monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery, turnaround time, load productivity, vehicle downtime, and cost per trip

6. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service levels

7. Collaborate with clients for operational needs, issue resolution, and service updates

8. Work closely with maintenance teams to ensure fleet safety and readiness

9. Prepare operational reports, dashboards, and performance reviews for senior leadership

9. Support budgeting, forecasting, and operational planning

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field

2. Min. 5 years of operations leadership experience in logistics/transportation

3. Strong understanding of dispatch, routing, fleet operations, and warehouse coordination

4. Proven track record in process improvement and operational efficiency

5. Strong problem-solving, communication, and team leadership skills

6. Experience using TMS, GPS/fleet tracking, ERP, or logistics management systems

7. Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

A. Experience in large-scale or multi-location logistics operations

B. Experience managing P&L or cost-control initiatives
