Gemmologist & Production Manager

Working Days: 5.5 days
Working Timing: 9-6pm (Mon to Fri) and 9am to 1pm Saturday (by appointment), Sunday & PH is off.
Working Location: Orchard Road
Starting Salary: $4500 to $7000 + Sales commission sharing + AWS + bonus depends on company performance

Requirements:
Minimum 5+ years working experience in the retail luxury industry, preferable in a jewellery field.
Certified Gemmologist (GIA, FGA or other relevant certification) will be added advantage.
Willing to travel

Job Responsible:
Gem Identification and Grading:

Utilize advanced gemological instruments and techniques to accurately identify and grade gemstones, including diamonds, colored gemstones and pearls

Client Consultation:

Provide expert advice to clients on gemstone selection, care and investment.

Assist in the selection of gemstone for jewelry design and creation

Procurement:

Sourcing and procurement of gemstones.

Inventory Management:

Maintain accurate records of gemstone inventory

Monitor gemstone markets trends and advise on potential investments

Production:

Coordinate with designers and workshop on new product development
