About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Business Analyst to support business growth and operational excellence through data-driven insights and digital strategies. This role involves analyzing company operations, marketing performance, and key business metrics, providing actionable recommendations to management.

The candidate will liaise with suppliers in China to control costs, conduct thorough market research and analysis in both the Chinese and Singaporean markets, and provide insights to support business and operational decisions. Strong proficiency in both English and Chinese is required. Candidates enabling a comprehensive understanding of these markets for strategic planning and data analysis. A strong market knowledge and explorative mindset are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and operational data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Support digital marketing campaigns by providing data insights and performance tracking.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Excel, SQL, or BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Assist in strategic planning, KPI monitoring, and decision-making for business initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, finance) to implement data-driven projects.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis for China and Singapore to support business development.
• Liaise with suppliers in China to optimize costs and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools/platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO/SEM) preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or related roles.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin).
• Familiar with both Chinese and Singaporean markets, preferably with long-term living experience in both countries.
• Strong market knowledge, research capability, and explorative mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.

Salary

• 8000-10000 SGD, Salary is negotiable and will be commensurate with experience.
